About This Program

Empowering Futures Through Education

The HEO Foundation Education Support Program is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through quality education. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential regardless of their financial circumstances.

What We Provide

  • Tuition Coverage: Full or partial payment of school fees for primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions
  • Learning Materials: Textbooks, notebooks, stationery, and educational supplies
  • School Uniforms: Complete uniform sets including shoes and bags
  • Examination Fees: Coverage of WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and other examination fees
  • Mentorship: Access to academic mentors and career guidance counselors
  • Computer Training: Basic ICT skills training for selected beneficiaries

Program Benefits

Our scholarship recipients receive comprehensive support throughout their academic journey. We monitor progress through regular school visits, report card reviews, and maintain close communication with teachers and guardians to ensure optimal academic performance.

Since inception, we have supported over 500 students across Nigeria, with many going on to become doctors, engineers, teachers, and entrepreneurs who now give back to their communities.

Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply?

  • Nigerian citizens or residents
  • Students currently enrolled in or seeking admission to primary, secondary, or tertiary institutions
  • Demonstrate financial need (family income below NGN 150,000/month)
  • Maintain satisfactory academic performance (minimum 50% average for current students)
  • Must not be receiving similar scholarship from another organization

Required Documents

  • Birth certificate or age declaration
  • School admission letter or current student ID
  • Previous academic results/report card
  • Passport photograph (recent)
  • Letter from community leader or religious leader
  • Parent/Guardian employment letter or evidence of income

Selection Criteria

Applications are reviewed based on financial need (40%), academic performance (30%), personal statement (20%), and community involvement (10%).
